Abstract
Examining the "curse" of society
[Examining the social "curse"]
Have you ever heard a message like the one below on online news or social media?
"Japan is obsolete," "Life is for happiness," "Make what you love your job," "Let's get out of the capitalist game and competition," "This world is a game of luck determined by parent gacha"
The "curse" in this book refers to these words that unconsciously bind our thoughts and actions and sometimes put pressure on us. But what if they are all just "baseless assumptions"?
Popular science journalist Yu Suzuki thoroughly investigates the truth of the curse based on data and evidence! He reveals the "falsehood of what should be" and the "mechanism of human psychology" that is manipulated by it. Can we escape the "transparent prison" created by words and bias?
Suzuki brilliantly shatters the "righteousness" that modern people have come to believe in, whether it be about the economy, happiness, work style, genetics, or talent. This book will help you break free from your preconceptions and become truly free.
- Japan has no future due to a declining birthrate and aging population - People live to be happy - There is no need for economic growth anymore - Work with passion - Life is determined by genetics, etc.
