Abstract

In the age of AI and Big Data, Data Literacy is no longer just for analysts—it is a survival skill for every professional. However, most people panic when they see raw data because they lack 'Number Sense.' This book provides a 30 mental workout to bridge that gap, helping readers look past the formulas and intuitively understand what the numbers are actually telling them.

In order to achieve that objective, a student from the University of Tokyo, who successfully passed the rigorous entrance exam that requires strong mathematical and logical thinking skills, regardless of their academic field, will thoroughly explain what it means to be "strong with numbers."

This book breaks down the skills needed to be "strong with numbers" into five key areas: "calculation techniques," "creating equations,"
"simplifying problems," "seeing the bigger picture," and "trial and error."
Through 30 practice problems (exercises), it teaches these skills in three steps: "overcoming your fear of numbers,"
"becoming comfortable with numbers," and "gaining the perspective of someone who is truly strong with numbers."

Gain valuable skills that will benefit you in both business and everyday life with this book!
